Luke Cage cancelled by Netflix and Marvel

Sweet Christmas! First Iron Fist is gone, now Luke Cage. Are Jessica Jones, Daredevil and the Punisher next on the cleaving square?




Appropriate on the foot sole areas of Netflix dropping Iron Fist just seven days back, it would seem that Luke Cage is the following Marvel superhuman arrangement to get the hatchet.

“Lamentably, Marvel’s Luke Cage won’t return for a third season,” Marvel and Netflix said in a joint articulation discharged to Variety on Friday.

“Everybody at Marvel Television and Netflix is appreciative to the committed showrunner, journalists, cast and team who breathed life into Harlem’s Hero for as long as two seasons, and to every one of the fans who have upheld the arrangement,” the official explanation finished up.

Obviously, this makes one wonder – are Jessica Jones, The Punisher and Daredevil (which just propelled its third season Friday) next?

Fingers crossed that both Luke Cage and Iron Fist will proceed on Disney’s new spilling administration that is relied upon to dispatch one year from now.

Wonder, Disney and Netflix did not quickly react to a demand for extra remarks.
