Manafort reportedly visited WikiLeaks’ Assange in lead-up to election

Previous Donald Trump battle Chairman Paul Manafort met with WikiLeaks organizer Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London multiple times, as indicated by a report Tuesday from the Guardian. The last gathering occurred around March 2016, at about the time Manafort joined Trump’s US presidential battle, the news outlet said.

The Guardian constructed its report with respect to data from anonymous sources and an inside archive from an Ecuadorian insight office.

The report comes as Manafort faces an allegation of deceiving Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, who’s researching Russian obstruction in the 2016 US presidential decision. Manafort went into a request manage Mueller’s office in September, conceding to charges including illegal tax avoidance and duty misrepresentation.
